Reading Bees Bentleigh – Phonics & Reading Classes for Kids Aged 3–9
Our learning studio in Bentleigh is where local children learn to read, spell and write with confidence. Reading Bees Bentleigh runs small, structured phonics classes for children from age 3 right through to Year 3, using an evidence-based, synthetic phonics approach that teaches letters, sounds and blending in a clear, step-by-step sequence.
Programs at our Bentleigh learning studio
PreKinder Bentleigh (ages 3–4): a gentle introduction to letter sounds, rhyme and early literacy through songs, games and hands-on activities – the ideal head start before kinder and school.
Kinder Program: builds phonics knowledge and early reading and writing skills so children start school ready to read.
Primary Program (Prep – Year 3): structured literacy support for school-aged children who need to strengthen their reading, spelling or comprehension, or who simply want to get ahead.
Why families choose Reading Bees Bentleigh
Classes are kept small. A maximum of 10 students in Pre Kinder, 12 in Kinder and 5 in our Primary Program. This ensures every child gets individual attention and encouragement. Lessons run once a week during school terms, Tuesday to Saturday, with morning and after-school sessions to suit busy families. Our studio at 624 Centre Rd is easy to reach from Bentleigh East, McKinnon, Moorabbin, Ormond and Hampton East, with on-site parking via Tucker Rd.
