South Kingsville Learning Studio is a welcoming and supportive learning space dedicated to helping students grow in confidence and achieve their academic goals.
We offer phonics-based learning programs tailored to each student’s needs, focusing on building strong literacy foundations, a clear understanding, and long-term success in a positive and encouraging environment.
Choose from 24 PreKinder, Kinder and Primary classes every week at our South Kingsville Learning Studio.

Reading Bees South Kingsville – Phonics & Reading Classes for Kids Aged 3–9
Our South Kingsville studio sits in the Vernon Street shops at 29b Vernon Street, a short walk from the local strip and easy to reach from across the inner west.
Children here are taught to read through explicit, systematic synthetic phonics: sounds first, then blending, then reading real text with confidence. Classes are small, and children are placed by the skills they hold rather than their school year.
Programs at our South Kingsville learning studio
PreKinder (ages 3–4). A playful first look at letters and sounds, built on songs, movement and hands-on activities, with plenty of practice at listening and taking turns.
Kinder (ages 4–5). School readiness done thoroughly — blending sounds into words, reading and spelling simple text, and the early number and fine-motor skills Prep takes for granted.
Primary (Prep–Year 3). For children who have fallen behind in reading or spelling, and for those ready to stretch. We screen first so that the teaching targets the actual gap.

Small groups. Five to twelve children per class, so every child reads aloud in every lesson.
Six days a week. Morning classes Monday to Friday, after-school sessions Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and Saturday mornings through to 2:00pm.
In the Vernon Street shops. Easy street parking and a short walk from the local cafes.
Serving the inner west. Families travel to us from Newport, Spotswood, Yarraville, Seddon, Kingsville, Altona North and Williamstown.
