What is your favourite part of class/being an educator?

Educating children has been a passion of mine for over 20 years. After teaching in a primary school setting for many years then having my own young kids, I decided it was time for a change. Starting up at Reading Bees was the best decision I’ve made. Singing, dancing, playing games and having loads of fun… all whilst teaching your little cherubs – who wouldn’t want to come to work each day!

We focus on phonemic awareness, early maths concepts, writing and fine motor skills. As well as the fundamentals of school readiness - listening to and respecting others, following instructions and organising their own belongings.

I love what the Little Learners program offers and the systematic way in which we teach it. It just makes sense!

What do you love most about your job at Reading Bees?

There’s so much to enjoy when teaching at Reading Bees! Welcoming a class full of energetic, smiley-faced 3 and 4 year olds each and every day is definitely a highlight. What I absolutely love the most though is that the program is so dynamic, interactive and fun the children don’t actually even realise they’re learning! Watching them grow in confidence, celebrating achievements and seeing the children flourish as learners is extremely rewarding.
