What makes our Kinder Program Different?
We get your child “school-ready”. Really ready.
We aim for every Reading Bees Kinder student to walk into their first day of school with the foundations to read, write, and spell with confidence.
They know what a classroom feels like. They understand routines. They’re comfortable.
How it works
We use a systematic, evidence-based phonics approach. Your child learns sounds, not just letters. They discover how sounds blend together to create words. Each lesson builds on the last in an explicit, sequential order, with qualified educators guiding the way. They take readers home to practice what they’ve learned. Small steps, real progress.
What develops
- Reading, writing, and spelling skills
- Introduction to basic maths concepts
- Listening and communication skills
- Understanding of classroom routines
- Independence and confidence
- Social skills and friendships
- A growth mindset

The Reading Bees difference
Your child isn’t anxious about starting school—they’re excited. They’ve already experienced structured learning. They know they can handle it.
Our program isn’t just about phonics—it’s about transformation. That’s the Reading Bees difference.
What to expect from our Kinder Program?
Every week, something magical happens.
The mystery box opens, and suddenly, learning isn’t just fun—it’s the highlight of the students’ week. That’s because learning feels fun here. Mystery boxes. Songs. Crafts.
Drawing. Stories. Dress-ups. We take children on a journey through the alphabet with Milo Monkey and his friends, focusing on their letters and sounds. Meanwhile, students are mastering letters, sounds, and reading.
My son always asks me, “Is it Reading Bees day today ?”
Whether you are new to Reading Bees or continuing from PreKinder, the Kinder program is designed for children starting Prep the following year.

The Reading Bees Kinder Program
Children who don’t just know their letters—they are confident learners who feel the magic of language and can’t wait to come to class each week.
